The Ray White family has taken pride in the massive expansion of the business from its humble beginnings in 1902. Today, Ray White remains the market leader across Australia and New Zealand, together with a market leading position in Indonesia and promising momentum in other parts of Asia and the Middle East.
This recognition from EY (formerly Ernst & Young) came as part of their International Entrepreneur of the Year event in Monaco, June 2016. The EY Entrepreneur of the Year is now firmly established as the premier business award, with the winner receiving worldwide exposure.
“Being recognised in this Global 50 family business index is one of the finest achievements in the history of our Group. It has particular relevance in the fact that the Ray White Group is, itself, comprised of hundreds of family businesses across Australasia. Many businesses are now effectively transferring to succeeding generations. So much so, the company now conducts its own family business seminars to address the issues of generational succession and family governance” said Brian White, AO, Joint-Chairman Ray White Group.
The EY Global Family Business Index Top 50 recognises family businesses that are a driving force for growth, business expansion and job creation on a worldwide basis.
For the Ray White Group to be recognised as part of this list is an inspiration to all of our members and we seek each of our members to become another family business of distinction.
